WordPress Theme Changer & Showcase Plugin
This page is new official site of “WordPress Theme Changer & Showcase Plugin”
WordPress Theme Changer & Showcase Plugin is a plugin with a widget which enables us to change the theme of a blog without having to login to the administrator’s room first. This is just like allowing visitors to change the theme of the blog.
Besides the theme changer widget, this plugin also has Showcase facility, i.e. a facility which enables us to show the thumbnail of a theme, the preview menu, and the download menu of the theme concerned, as well as information about the theme.
If you have installed several themes to your blog, you can also install this plugin to it to give an exciting experience to your visitors. By installing this plugin, your visitors can choose their favorite themes.
Installing WordPress Theme Changer & Showcase Plugin
- Save file “theme-changer-showcase.php” in folder /wp-content/plugins/
- Activate Theme Changer & Showcase from Plugins menu in WordPress.
Activating Theme Changer Widget
After the plugin installation is finished, you can activate Theme Changer Widget from Design-Widget menu.
If your theme not widget ready you still can activate Theme Changer Widget with write the code below in your theme:

Using Showcase Facility
If you want to show the thumbnail of the theme which has been installed to your blog in an existing article, you can just add the tag with the following format
[theme name=”Theme Name”] or [theme name=”Theme Name” download=”url”]
Note:
The theme’s name is case sensitive (pay attention to capitalization, e.g.: “A” is different from “a”).

Works Great! Made a few modifications and am using it on my dev blog: http://dev.simply-basic.com/
Specifically, I added the first option to be “–Select–” so as not to confuse the user to what theme they are on (it defaults to showing the top option).
Thanks! Is there a way to disable some of the themes while still showing others?
Under Wordpress 2.7, when the plugin is activated it blocks the navigation through admin panel and shows “you have no sufficient right to open this page”!!!
I hope you will have time to fix it, your plugin is very intersting to switch in between the same theme in different languages.

I have tried the plugin… works fine for me in WP 2.7 But I have a question… I want to insert this in an article and if I use it, the theme changes but it goes to the site’s front page… How can I change it so that when activated the theme changer stays on the same page?

So much better than changing themes the Admin way. This may be a silly questio0n, but can the plugin not display certain Themes. This question may be in reverse, but just wondering.
This seems to be just what I’m looking for, but I’d like to see it in action and the demo doesn’t seem to be working. I tried to access it through the link above and it said the page was “not found.” If anyone is willing to post a link to a blog that uses this plugin, it would be much appreciated. I’d like to see how the thumbnail preview works. Also, I’m curious to know if anyone is using this plugin with the current version of Wordpress, 2.8. Thank you!

The theme changer is working fine and smoothly.
But I tried using Showcase Facility, the image of the theme does not appear at all from a newly posted article. I used the ff: formats and failed, any advise?

@ver: You can use the real theme name. You can find it at style.css
